Suitable for wet-on-wet coating. Application: Coating devices, separate coating devices, roller coaters, rotogravure and flexo printing Amount Required: 4 to 6 g/m² for printing machines; 4 to 8 g/m² for roller coaters Recom. Cell Geometry for Rollers: 160 lines/cm, 45° Hashour roller - cell volume 8 cm³/m² - etching depth 40 µ Viscosity Supplied: approx. 40 seconds in a 4 mm cup (according to DIN EN ISO 2431) at 20°C Dilution: With water, if required. Processing Conditions: Drying Methods: A lot of hot and cold air. Adhesion: Basically, adhesion is given with dispersion adhesives as well as with hot melt adhesives. Practical tests are recommended. Specific Weight: Approx. 1.3 kg/l Film Forming Part: Approx. 60 % Special Precautions: The pigments tend to sediment. Therefore, it is obligatory to stir the product thoroughly before use! Protect from frost and temperatures above 35°C (sunlight, radiator etc.)! Clean machines and equipment with water. Caked-on residue can be removed using VEGRA Cleanser for Dispersion Coatings 19 00 13 or VOC-Free Pressroom Cleaner Concentrate GREEN 220 400 Zi. We would recommend to use printing inks which are resistant against solvents, alkali and alcohol according to ISO 2836 (formerly DIN 16524). Specifications on the film forming part and to the specific weight refer to a viscosity of 40 seconds (4 mm DIN cup/20°C).
